Christmas is almost here, but we have not forgotten about Thanksgiving.  It seems like the holidays sneak up on us! Can you believe it?  We’re excited for the holidays but we have so many ideas and so little time to do them all!  We've been working really hard to get these projects ready.  We hope you LOVE them!

When my children were young, I painted a ceramic Nativity set.  Each child choose a couple of the pieces they loved, told me what colors to paint it, and etched their name in the bottom of the piece.  Every year they were so excited to pull out their nativity pieces.  They wanted to play with it all the time, but for obvious reasons I couldn't let them. So one year I made a little wooden set, they played with that one all the time.  AND Frankie the dog almost ate a shepherd, to this day it shows that I saved it before he swallowed it.  Our nativity sets have become an heirloom for My children.  
I wanted to create a nativity set the children could love and play with every year.  So I made this one into a puzzle.  My grandchildren have had fun putting it together.  I hope you enjoy making it.

Two Sided Pumpkin

This project includes: material for pumpkin, candy corn and flower.  You will also be provided with paper for the candy corn and flower.  One side of the pumpkin will have the candy corn (for Halloween) and the other side will have the flower (for Thanksgiving). 

To finish this project you will need paper for the pumpkin (enough to cover both sides of one pumpkin- if you get two pumpkin you will be covering four sides), paint and/or chalk, mod podge and any embellishments you would like to add.
